The bearings arrived open in the packaging, and on top of that they are noisy; you can hear friction during rotation. I will definitely apply a drop of lubricant. Overall, they do rotate, but the durability needs to be evaluated.

Fire! The movement is smooth, the bearing spins for about 30 seconds due to inertia. No lubrication needed! I installed it on rollers. Now I can wash it after riding without worrying about rust.

For the price - good stuff. Tho use low viscosity lube like bones speed cream, without it they become squeaky after a days use since they’re hybrids and not full ceramic.
