They look good the for the price, and seem to be UV reactive, but it's mostly visible when they are upside down for some reason. it might be I'm using a UV flashlight that isn't quite the right wavelength.

I bought 2 stones. These man-made (synthetic) rubies glow under a 365nm UV light. The stones are nice looking, but they are dark pinkish red... not a BROWNISH red like a "garnet ruby" in the seller's description and pictures. Overall, I was dissappointed with this purchase. From order to delivery (China to California) took 9 days.
